Why Stratiform

A founder-run shop where every order is a direct reflection of our work.

Stratiform isn't a faceless print farm. It's a founder-run service bureau built on engineering fundamentals, process discipline, and a straightforward commitment: deliver the right part, documented correctly, on time. Most importantly, we’re here to build relations and become a long term partner on your journey.

Stratiform was started to fill a gap that shows up constantly in manufacturing: the need for production-intent parts fast, from a supplier who actually understands what they're making and why it matters.

With a background in CAD and engineering, we approach every job with technical eyes — not just a print queue. We review files before they run, flag problems before they cost you money, and recommend processes based on how your part will actually be used, not what's easiest for us.

As a founder-run business, we're accountable for every order that leaves our floor. There's no account manager buffering your feedback and no tier-one support queue to navigate. You deal directly with the person making decisions — and that matters when your program is on the line.

What you can count on

CAD & engineering background

Every file gets reviewed with engineering eyes before it prints.

Direct founder involvement

You work with the person who owns the outcome — not a middleman.

Documented process on every order

Material, settings, acceptance criteria — on file and repeatable.

Proudly Based in the USA

Serving manufacturers across the country with fast ground shipping and on-site scanning.

What Sets Us Apart

We review files before we print them.

Every job gets a DFM check before it hits the queue. Wall thickness, orientation, tolerances, material fit — we catch issues before they become expensive reprints. You get a recommendation, not just a receipt. We select materials based on your functional requirements — load, heat, chemical exposure, finish class, and end use. If you're not sure which material is right, we'll tell you. If your application calls for something we don't run in-house, we'll source it through our partner network.

Documentation built into every order.

Every bridge run ships with documented materials, process settings, and acceptance criteria. Reorders use the same spec — no re-explaining, no guessing whether the next batch will match the last.

One contact for the whole job.

Metal, specialty finishing, inspection — we manage partners under the same acceptance standards as our in-house work. One point of contact, one set of expectations, one accountability.

Scan-to-part when there's no file to start with.

Worn parts, legacy components, fixtures with no CAD — we scan them, build clean geometry, and move into production. Often faster than hunting down a drawing that may not exist anymore.

What we’re not

We'd rather be upfront about what we're not than oversell what we are. If we're not the right fit for your project, we'll tell you that too.

Not a commodity shop

We don't compete on lowest price per unit. We compete on reliability, documentation, and getting the right part to you on time.

Not prototype-only

We print parts that ship to customers, go into assemblies, and live on production lines — with the documentation to match.

Not a black box

You'll know the process, material, and acceptance criteria your order was built to — before it ships, not after you open the box.

If this sounds like the kind of shop you've been looking for, let's talk.

Send us the file and your requirements. We'll recommend the right process and get a quote back to you within 24 hours.
